The first rally for AOR owners to be held in South Australia starts in the Clare Valley, home to one of our famous wine and food regions, then travels through the Southern Flinders and Flinders Ranges before finishing at Farina on the southern end of the Oodnadatta Track.
Participants will experience some real outback hospitality staying at properties including Bendleby Ranges, Rawnsley Park Station, Alpana Station and Warraweena Sanctuary. Getting to these places means travelling dirt backroads which were part of the original explorer routes into the area.
Tasting the Flinders means dining on station grown and cooked lamb, and sampling camel, emu and kangaroo, all part of the feral mixed grill lunch at the world-famous Prairie Hotel and sampling the quandong pies at Copley.

riving through the Flinders Ranges and outback, you’d be forgiven for thinking you were navigating the unexplored face of Mars. You’ll find dusty red roads bordered by towering ancient cliffs and deep craters. It is surrounded by ancient mountain ranges, spectacular gorges and sheltered creeks. No wonder many regard it as their ultimate travel destination.
