AOR Ambassadors – Bruce & Lyn Whittle

Samford, Queensland

What model do you own?
December 2015 – Matrix Pop Top – this was the first MPT to be built by AOR.  We previously owned a Quantum for 5+ years.

What is it that you love about AOR?
We have found that they are a great Company to deal with both before and after the sale.  The quality and finish of the product is far superior to any other that we have investigated.  AOR are always seeking improvement and innovation to their range and welcome customer feedback.

What makes you want to be an AOR Ambassador?
We are really already undertaking that role both on and off the road.  We continually invite inspections when out and about and have represented AOR at a number of Shows over the years.  Our MPT has been displayed at the Brisbane Show twice and we are more than happy to promote a product that we believe in.

What’s your No1 travel bugbear?
We don’t really have any specific “bugbears” while travelling.

You’ve probably been off the grid many times what is the most remote location you have visited?
I guess the most remote at the time was Cape York and maybe Captain Billie Landing on the way.
However, other locations such as Cape Levique, Mitchell Falls, Bungle Bungle, Karijini NP, the Birdsville and Strzelecki Tracks and Walkers Crossing have all been interesting at different times.

Where did you go on your last trip?
Tasmania was probably the last significant outing for us.

Which destination was a surprise to you?
Coral Bay in Western Australia was absolutely beautiful.

When you arrive at your destination what’s the first thing you do?
Usually talk to the people who have just come over to look at the MPT.

What is your favourite dish you like to cook when traveling?
Chinese Beef Stir Fry
