Campground hosting in the Territory

Volunteering as a Campground Host in the Territory is a great way to enjoy some of Australia’s best nature and wildlife experiences.

AOR Owners will be fully equipt for these areas as their trailers are fully self contained and can cope with the various 4WD drive tracks.

Campground host responsibilities include

  • Welcome campers
  • Providing general information about the area
  • Assisting with the maintenance of visitor facilities

“ Ever thought of campground hosting in the Territory?

There are still spaces available for the 2019 visitor season (May to September) at

  • Litchfield National Park in the Top End
  • Finke Gorge National Park
  • Trephina Gorge Nature Park in Central Australia.

Two of these sites are 4WD accessible only.

Volunteer campground hosts will support rangers in the smooth running of the campgrounds. Full training and induction will be required.
